In the aftermath of the devastating earthquake that struck Thailand on March 28, 2025, the country witnessed the courage and tireless dedication of rescue teams working around the clock to save lives. The heat and exhaustion of the long hours in such challenging conditions were evident. 

In these times of hardship, Ai-CHA, a beloved brand known for its refreshing iced tea, decided to step in and provide some relief. By offering iced tea to the rescue workers, Ai-CHA aimed to help alleviate the heat and fatigue they faced while carrying out life-saving operations. This article highlights how our company supported the heroes working hard to bring hope and safety back.

The Earthquake and the Immediate Need for Aid

On March 28, 2025, a powerful earthquake hit Myanmar and surrounding countries, including Thailand, causing the collapse of a building in Bangkok. The destruction was widespread, and the rescue operations that followed were urgent. In the face of extreme heat and emotional strain, the workers on the frontlines were focused on saving lives and ensuring that victims were safely evacuated. 

While most of the donated beverages were only water, Ai-CHA recognized that the long hours in Thailand’s hot climate could take a significant toll on the workers. The need for something more than water was apparent, and Ai-CHA’s iced tea seemed like the perfect solution.

Ai-CHA’s Commitment to Support

On March 30, 2025, Ai-CHA Thailand sent a request for participation to the principal store and its local franchises to join the efforts in supporting the rescue teams. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with three Ai-CHA stores stepping up to help:

- Ai-CHA RAMKHAMHAENG 24 (Principal Store)
- Ai-CHA THE MALL NGAMWONGWAN
- Ai-CHA LADPRAO 98

Each store prepared 200 cups of refreshing iced tea beverages, including Original Jasmine Tea, Original Earl Grey Tea, Jasmine Peach Tea, Earl Grey Peach Tea, and Grape Juice. These beverages were carefully selected to provide a refreshing boost to the workers. The total donation amounted to 600 cups, all fully covered by the company. It was Ai-CHA’s way of showing appreciation and support to those working tirelessly to save lives.

The Power of Small Act

While Ai-CHA’s donation may seem small compared to the magnitude of the earthquake, the impact it had on the rescue workers cannot be understated. In times of physical and emotional exhaustion, even the smallest act can make a huge difference. Ai-CHA’s iced tea provided a much-needed moment of refreshment, offering the workers a brief respite from the intense heat.
